Bricktown

Bricktown Brewery Restaurant
1 N. Oklahoma
405.232.2739
A quality Sports Bar in Oklahoma City, Great Pool Tables, Big Screens, Food is decent, the Home Brew is 3.2 which sucks but that's the law. This wide open establishment can get packed when it hosts several local bands. A good place to see a show in Bricktown. The OkieSurf staff won $300 bones at the Monday Night Football game a few years back watching that amazing Bucks v. Rams game.

Chemistry

JDM Place, Located on the 4th Floor
OKC, OK
405.552.5555
Chemistry came to life after Bricktown 54 closed their doors. They remolded the inside, but it is basically the same club. The music leans more towards radio top 40 dance music with DJ’s from 97.9 spinning on Friday and Saturday nights. Chemistry is a good time, but the talent level is not as good as the original club 54.

CityWalk
100 E. Main, OKC, OK
405.232-9255
Somewhat based on the boardwalk in San Antonio, CityWalk advertises they have 7 clubs in one. However, there are only 5 separate rooms with two additional bars that they call clubs. Nonetheless, CityWalk is a hard club to beat on the weekend for a diverse crowd with music to please every camper in the group. A definite must for new comers to Bricktown.

The Daiquiri Zone
27 E. Sheridan, OKC, OK
405.232.9663
The newest addition to the fast growing Bricktown area. This Sports Bar and Grill features a flat screen TV in every booth. Thus, eliminates the problem of some yahoo watching a boring game that he only cares about the outcome. You can now watch any televised sporting event in your own realm. Sunday afternoons are heaven here for the avid sports fan. When you get hungry, there is no need to venture down the street. The food is excellent in the Zone. However, it is a little “pricey,” but you have to pay the price for TV at your table. Did I mention they are all flat screens?

LIT
208 E. Sheridan OKC, OK
405.602-6246
One of the few good bars in Bricktown. Most of the establishments in the downtown area are clubs. It is nice to be in Bricktown and not battle the club scene. They mix great drinks at LIT, and offer a spacious deck when the OKC heat is not beating down to hard. DJ’s spin music on Thursday and Friday nights. The music is not overwhelming, but a great touch to the atmosphere that is unique to the LIT experience.

Classics Bar & Grill

Classics is a true definition of an original OKC bar. It can get rowdy at times, with Rock-a-Billy bands and good old fashion beer drink ‘in. If you have a good pool game, the regulars will be glad to challenge you to a game for a beer, or how ever much you are willing to gamble. If you want to see some classic Harley’s, Wednesday night is bike night. You will see your fare share of Harley’s and custom bikes.

Flips Wine bar and Trattoria

A hip spot that draws a diverse crowd that ranges from OKC wealthiest to your starving artist trying to make ends meat. Flip’s wine menu is one of the best in town. This Italian restaurant has daily dinner specials that comes with a wine selection to help wash down the meal. Thursday night are known to be a little wild at times. TapsWorks Ale House and Café-Northside

VZD’s
4200 N. Western OKC, OK

One of the "cool" places for Yuppies. VZD’s host several good bands every week. Can be a little loud at times, but that is rock and roll at it’s finest. You will see your fair share of new age hippies as well.

Lakeside

There are three Restaurant\Bars located on Lake Hefner, just off of Briton Road and Hefner Parkway. Bahama Breeze, Pearls Lakeside, and Red Rock Canyon, are all good places for drinking, and depending on your preferences, there is a wide variety of food.

One of our other favorite Hideaways this is a small bar with 2 pool tables, and a easy going crowd.

Norman

Norman is about 25 miles south of downtown OKC off Interstate 35 and is a booming college town. Norman is sometimes called the “Sooner Nation” since it is home to the University of Oklahoma. The staff's knowledge of Norman is a little out-dated, but "The Scene," is and always will be, Campus Corner located just north of OU campus.

Edmond

Lumpys Sports Grill

In the strip mall on the SE Corner of Broadway and 15th. It's a happen place when schools in. Not too bad for the burbs.
