VITO’S RESTORANTE
Located at 7521 North May Avenue, OKC
Open for dinner only, Tuesday thru Saturday
For more information or reservations, call 848.4867
Look for the black door to know you are at Vito’s. Italian food is best served in an intimate setting and Vito’s Restorante offers just that. Owner Cathy Cummings works the front of the house, seating every guest personally and checking in at least once during the meal. The chicken marsala is a staple of most Italian restaurants, but rarely is it as flavorful as the offering at Vito’s. Vito’s is the “Little Italy” of OKC.
PARK AVENUE GRILL
Located in the lobby of the Skirvin Hilton in downtown OKC.
Carved heads of Bacchus, the Roman God of wine, stare down from atop columns in the main lobby. The Park Avenue Grill is the signature restaurant of the Skirvin, located in the east section of the lobby on the ground floor. The Park Avenue offers a delightful dining experience in a “business casual” setting. The executive chef is Andrew Black. He has crafted a menu that features regional favorites such as steaks and chops, with a good variety of seafood as well. A signature menu item is the “Skirvin Tower”, which features Idaho russet potatoes layered with sweet potatoes and topped with melted blue cheese. It’s a fine compliment to almost any dish on the menu. Come spend some time admiring the architecture and artwork in the main lobby, have a great meal and see beautiful downtown OKC.
RED BRICK RESTAURNAT
Located at 711 N. Hudson, across the street from the new federal building in downtown OKC.
7-9a.m breakfast and 11-1:30 lunch
Carry outs available by calling 232.6300
Red Brick is owned by Janice Dobbins and is, not surprisingly, in a charming brick building. The color red abounds inside as well, with red and white stained brick in the casual dining area. The lunch menu features a good selection of burgers and combo meals ranging in price from $4.99-$6.39. The home cooking shines with daily specials served buffet style. Side orders include mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, and pinto price of the meal is $6.99.
The food is tasty, the prices modest and the atmosphere relaxed and intimate.
