Oklahoma City Zoo
Find the Fun at the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden. More to See From A to Z! The Zoo features a diverse and fascinating animal and plant collection. The Zoo is a fully accredited member of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA) and the American Association of Museums (AAM) as both a living museum and a botanical garden.
In May 2004, the Oklahoma City Zoo was named the third best family-friendly zoo in the nation by Child magazine!

 

Oklahoma City Skate Park

Admission to the skatepark is free. Hours are from dawn to 11 p.m., year-round. The park is a skate- or ride-at-your-own-risk, non-supervised facility designed for skateboards (34 inches maximum length), in-line skating (four wheels maximum per skate) and BMX freestyle biking only.
Matt Hoffman's Crazy Freakin' Bikers Series was hosted at the skatepark from May 13-15, 2005! 500 of the world's best BMX bikers competed during the three-day, televised competition. The event was free to spectators and one heck of a good time. Keep your eyes peeled for follow-up, annual competitions.

Bricktown

The local bar and restaurant hot spot downtown. The Minor League BallPark is in the heart of this thriving district. Resent upgrades include a movie theater and one huge Bass Pro Shop. There is a canal and short boat ride. During Christmas time the sled down a huge man made snow shoot on inter tubes. A convention center and large arena are within walking distance.

Oklahoma Lake Review

There are a ton of great lakes in the state of Oklahoma. Grand and Texoma are the Huge Lakes with resorts and parties galore. Texoma is famous for its Striper Fishing and is located just off I-35 on the Oklahoma Texas border. Grand is just east of Tulsa. Texkiller is a large lake that is the favorite quite get away for the locals. Lake Arbuckel is up in the hills and has an exotic animal park near by. Its also not to far away from the only waterfall park in Oklahoma Turner Falls. If you looking for a great camping spot try Red Rock Canyon, just of I-40 about 50 miles outside of OKC. Some other nice small fishing lakes include Sardis, in the SE of the state. There are 3 major lakes inside of Oklahoma City. Lake Hefner is located about 10 miles north of downtown and has a Restaurant Row and a Golf Course. There is so much to cover that we just have the hilights up now we will have a more detailed listing up soon.

White Water Bay

A great water park at a decently affordable price for the ticket. The park has 10 awesome tube flume rides, including a 500,000 gallon wave pool, different food spots, and Frontier City, a western style theme park with more than 50 rides for the whole family, is less than 30 minutes away. Double Park passes are available.
